We have titled our work: The Garden on the Banks of the Rhine
The city of Saint Louis, a territory of strong biodiversity in a protected environment.
The artistic intention:
Our mural is based on 3 main axes: The flora of the riverbanks, the lily emblematic of the city and the rich and majestic fauna.
The wind and its breath accompany each visitor and offer them a real vegetal, natural, poetic breath. Embellished by its waterway, the pistyles and pollen stand out elegantly to create new shapes and key words of benevolence
The key elements of the murals:
On stem
Grass, pampas feather, pollen, curved stem
In good company
Grey heron, squirrel, groundhog, butterfly…
Lily
Historical symbolism, elegant flower and leaf.
Here are the first graphic and mural creations.
The colors black, gold with variants of blue have been selected. Contemporary, our works and murals bring a real graphic identity to all these health spaces. (waiting room, patient reception, doctor’s room, consultation room, dialysis room and of course, all the corridors).
Is it necessary to recall the interest of art in hospitals and health establishments?
THE ARTS IN HEALTH
Metamorphoze is a diverse and multidisciplinary artistic company dedicated to transforming the healthcare experience.
The integration of the arts in health: the experience has a positive impact on the health of patients. Results. The arts benefit patients by helping them with their physical, mental, and emotional recovery, including relieving anxiety and decreasing pain perception. In an atmosphere where the patient often feels out of control, the arts can serve as a therapeutic and healing tool, reducing stress and loneliness and providing opportunities for self-expression. Art also has the power to communicate and educate, giving it an increasingly significant role in healthcare institutions. What’s more, research shows that the arts can reduce painkiller use and length of hospital stay, and improve adherence to treatment recommendations—providing substantial savings in health care costs.
The arts create more security, more support in health facilities.
From architectural design to art on walls, from access to natural lighting, to the inclusion of nature through landscaped and healing gardens, the physical environment has a significant impact in reducing stress for patients and caregivers.
